Grateful to be here

Today I took a walk while the snow was pouring down. At first I was speaking to Caroline on the phone, but after some time we said goodbye and it was only me and my thoughts on that walk. The snow was still pouring down and i couldn’t help but feel blessed and grateful for my life, where I am now, for my body that carried 4 healthy and amazing kids and for the snow that was hitting my face. I am a summer person, I truly am, so for me to have feelings of greatness for snow is big. I still miss my time living in Gran Canaria with palms, sun and summer, but this is also okey. Sometimes I am so good at living in the past, that some days just flow by. So from now on I’m going to live here and now, be grateful for the past, but enjoy this moment now.

After my walk I picked up one of my sons from school and we spoke about gratitude and feelings. I think it’s so important to include your kids and share and speak about gratitude with them. Because one thing is for sure, gratefulness truly works, and if you practice it everyday, you’ll definitely start to see some amazing results.

Love, S
