I’m back
My computer broke during the summer and I finally got myself a new one, I’m so grateful and happy to sit here and write on it. If you listen to our podcast you know last week was emotional for me and this weekend wasn’t much better, I was tired and drained but also so happy and grateful to be at home with the kids. We just cuddled up in the sofa, went for a walk and had a slow Saturday and on Sunday we went to a park played and cuddled with the goats that they had there. But as I said, I was tired and a bit of.
Today I decided to just go home and not do anything so that’s what I did, without feeling guilty for all that needs to be done. The rest can wait, we need to take care of ourselves first so that we can be there for everyone else, and that’s something that I’m truly working on.
Now I’m going to meditate before picking up my kids, and then my focus will be all on them and what they need. I love being a mom but I’m the best mom I can be when I give myself what I need too.. That’s something I think a lot of moms need to realize because it’s easy to forget yourself when you become a mom..
