The holidays are coming to an end

The Christmas holidays are coming to an end & I’m so grateful, this holiday has been so special to me, it’s the first holiday that I’ve fully enjoyed in so many years and I’ve been present and enjoyed every second of it.

We’ve been up to late together for to long and even though I’ve tried to go back to normal bedtimes it’s so hard, the kids has fallen a sleep later, we’ve been reading for almost two hours every night and when the kids has fallen asleep I’ve been cleaning the kitchen and hanging laundry that I don’t give any time during the day.. When I’ve finally gone to bed the time has been well over 1 o’clock in the night but I still wish we could stay home together a couple more days and play in the snow, at the same time I look forward to some routines, gym and work without feeling like I’m missing out on time with the kids.

I’m genuinely so grateful that I can stay home all holiday and spend time with the kids, it is a great privilege that I don’t take for granted. The house is all messy and the laundry is piling up but it can wait until school is back, this time with my kids is so precious.
